K/H INSIGHTS REPORTs

What happens when your agency is full of brilliant strategists with brilliant insights, but nowhere to put them?

Thankfully, we’ll never have to know the answer.

Shortly after starting at Karsh Hagan, it became clear to me that we needed to showcase our team's talent. I have the pleasure of working with some of the most intelligent, insightful, and inquisitive minds I’ve ever known. However, without a clear content strategy for our owned and operated channels, we were missing the opportunity to highlight that expertise.

At first glance, our content might have seemed like those of an average Colorado agency—not the dynamic environment where professionals push themselves, test their limits, and grow.

As a Content Strategist, my primary goal is to create content that reflects our distinct personality and expertise. As a Marketer, I set the vision for that content, ensuring it comes to life in a simple, beautiful way that enhances the user experience.

Birth of the K/H Insights Reports

With that vision, the K/H Insights Reports were born. These quarterly reports provide our clients with essential updates in our priority verticals: Finance & Banking, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Travel & Tourism.

In a world overwhelmed with talking heads, op-eds, infographics, reports, and predictions on the state of advertising, our insights reports cut through the noise, and most importantly, help our clients focus on what truly matters.

Collaborating with our design and project management teams, we developed a comprehensive content strategy. This included creating a style guide, color palette, brand tone, voice, personality, and UX/UI guidelines.

One of my key priorities was ensuring the agency-wide report, written by nearly ten different people, maintained a cohesive tone of voice that represents our company. To achieve this, I created customized templates for each insight, maximizing efficiency and naturally guiding our clients through the reports.

A Unified Voice and Engaging Content

Take a sneak peek below at one of the many insights we include in our reports. We guide our team to write a maximum of 2-3 sentences to set the stage, followed by a strong “So What?” or “Takeaway” statement. We also incorporate a touch of research, showcasing a quote or statistic alongside the takeaway.

Fast forward one year and seven reports later, we now have a repository of insights, trends, and predictions we’ve made each quarter. This resource allows us to challenge ourselves to step back from the cultural zeitgeist and observe it from above.

Through this project, I polished my ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver a robust, data-driven content strategy that significantly enhanced our brand's digital presence. The success of the reports underscores my expertise in UX/UI design and content strategy, and my knack for creating impactful, user-centric content.
